On November 28th, the water intake floating ship "Dianzhong Water Diversion Huaping" for the Guanyinyan Reservoir Area Water Lifting Project in Huaping County, designed by Yunnan Provincial Water Conservancy Design Institute and constructed by Hunan Zhongda Energy saving Pump Industry Co., Ltd., was successfully launched, marking the completion of the water intake hardware facilities and an important step towards the goal of water supply.
The Guanyinyan Reservoir Area Water Supply Project in Huaping County undertakes the comprehensive task of industrial water supply in the project area, industrial park town water supply, rural human and animal life water supply, and agricultural irrigation water supply. The total output value of Huaping County Industrial Park is expected to exceed 20 billion yuan in 2023. With the development of the economy and society, the strategic locations of the Gucheng District and High tech Industrial Economic Zone in Lijiang City, Jiuhe Township in Yulong County, the dry and hot valley area in Yongsheng County, and the Shilongba Industrial Park in Huaping County have become increasingly important in the economic and social development process of Lijiang City. The shortage of water resources has seriously constrained economic and social development, and at the same time, extreme weather phenomena occur frequently, making it difficult for residents in the area to use water for daily life and production.
After the completion of the Guanyinyan Reservoir Area Water Lifting Project in Huaping County, the main guarantee is 21.384 million cubic meters of industrial water for the three industrial parks of Rongjiang, Shilongba, and Xingquan. The industrial park's Xiaoji Town has a production and domestic water supply of 5.168 million cubic meters for 60000 people, and the four villages of Longjing, Minzhu, Jizuo, and Demao in Shilongba Town have a rural population of 677000 cubic meters of domestic water supply! The water intake of the project is located on the left bank of the Guanyinyan Hydropower Station reservoir area, and the receiving area is located in the southeast of Huaping County. The estimated total investment of the project is 530 million yuan, with a total length of 40.7 kilometers. There is a floating boat water intake pump station and two ground pumping stations arranged, with a total installed capacity of 13625 kilowatts for the three pumping stations. The lifting head of the Shilongba pumping station is as high as 516.5 meters. After the completion of the project, it will provide irrigation water for 46500 acres of mangoes in Huaping County.
