At the meeting, Li Zhiguo, Vice President of Hunan Automotive Engineering Vocational University, delivered a welcome speech, Wang Yong, President of Hunan Shipbuilding Industry Association, and Qiu Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hunan Xiangchuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., delivered speeches, focusing on in-depth discussions on policy orientation and cutting-edge technology. The person in charge of the Equipment Industry Department II of the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology emphasized in his speech the policy direction of promoting the high-end, intelligent, and green development of the shipbuilding industry.
Experts from China Classification Society Wuhan Branch, China Shipbuilding Ninth Design and Research Institute, Wuhan University of Technology and other units have provided in-depth interpretations and prospects for the green, low-carbon and intelligent development of ships from the perspectives of industry standards, shipyard design, and technological paths. During the technical exchange session, representatives from Hunan Changyi Pump Industry Co., Ltd. and other enterprises focused on the practical challenges faced by dredging ships, engineering ships, and other vessels in terms of high energy consumption and maintenance costs. They proposed a comprehensive solution from pump selection, pump design, pump materials to operation and maintenance.
Integration of industry and education, focusing on innovation. During the conference, Hunan Automotive Engineering Vocational University held a school enterprise cooperation award ceremony with multiple enterprises. Representatives visited the university's training base on site and conducted discussions on topics such as collaborative education and joint technological breakthroughs, aiming to solidify the talent and technological foundation for sustainable industrial development.
At the end of the meeting, the Secretary General of the Association, Gao Jijun, stated that he will take this annual meeting as an opportunity to further strengthen technical exchanges and cooperation within the industry, and promote Hunan Province's shipbuilding industry to take solid steps on the path of green and intelligent transformation.
